Introducing the Weber Smokey Joe Premium in Crimson (1123004)

The Smokey Joe Premium is a slight upgrade on the Smokey Joe Original, with the added benefit of a lid lock. The lock allows you to lock the lid to the bowl so that you can easily carry the BBQ by its handle between uses. The lid also allows you to hold the lid in place so it can also add as a wind deflector for the initial lighting of the coals.

It is wise to purchase a
Weber Portable Chimney Starter to help light the charcoal for this BBQ easily and safely. The Portable Chimney Starter is also sized with the Smokey Joe Premium in mind – fill it up with charcoal and once the charcoal has turned grey, pour the entire contents into the Smokey Joe Bowl, onto the charcoal grate. A full portable chimney starter is the optimum amount of charcoal that you should use for this particular BBQ.
